Identity and website for a pioneering brand in Spain aiming for climate neutrality, counting on more than 20 Spanish cities.
Contexto
citiES 2030 is a multi-stakeholder collaboration and innovation space seeking to support the transition of Spanish cities towards climate neutrality. This platform develops activities and offers services to facilitate the transformation towards healthier and more sustainable cities.
Descripción
As the main concept, a similarity was created between the platform and a tree. Organisms whose vital function is to consume CO2 and emit oxygen, balancing and helping to achieve climate neutrality. To represent the Spanish cities included in the platform –now more than 20– different types of leaves were used, which together would form the great tree of citiES2030.
A whole brand universe was created across a wide variety of applications and later, its website. The visual system combines a colour palette inspired by the earth, sea and the platform’s missions with coloured-pencil illustrations and a typographic approach that balances seriousness and warmth, resulting in a flexible, approachable and educational identity.
